Tomato is believed to benefit the heart. They are good source of lycopene, one of the natural antioxidants. In some research studies, lycopene has been found to help prevent prostate cancer. Lycopene has also been shown to improve skin’s ability to protect against harmful UV rays. Tomato also has been associated with decreased risk of breast cancer, head and neck cacner.
